Immerse yourself in the history of hairdressing with our sell-out vintage course. Hosted and designed by vintage enthusiast Lorna Moore, this exciting and fascinating workshop will cover some of the most iconic eras in hairstyling. Learn the history of the era, what influenced the fashion of the time and how in turn this inspired the hairstyles - and then master the looks yourself.
Discover the sectioning patterns, setting techniques, tools, products and equipment needed to create authentic vintage styles as well as the tips and tricks used by women of the time. During the workshop you will learn a unique way to recreate authentic 1930s fingerwaves and a faux bob, 1940s Hollywood style waves plus 1940s wartime victory rolls.
You'll leave the workshop understanding why these classic techniques have a place in today's salon and how you can recreate iconic looks with the ghd styler and other modern tools. An absolute must for any stylist interested in learning more about vintage hairstyling and its history.
