GLAM GRUNGE

Beauty is taking a grungy stance this season with dark grey eyes, layers of mascara and pale skin. Smoky eyes are finding a new form with glossy textures, slept-in eyeliner and hints of silver and mushroom.

Not the most practical trend, this penchant for gothic style is best saved for the night and whilst lashings of lace and dense eye shadow will turn heads on the dance floor, it attracts only negative emotion in the office.

To capture the grunge look without going all the way, look towards your finger tips. Deliciously dark nail colours give a gentle nod to the trend. Taupe and mink shades are the perfect compromise between neutral hues and gothic colour and are soft enough to be worn whilst you get your morning coffee. For ultimate day to night colour opt for a warm grey, which gives a refined yet edgy glamour to all outfits.
