HEAVEN HAS OPENED

As if there wasn't enough about Paris to fall in love with, interior architect Patrick Jouin has just added another reason to visit. Forget national landmarks and quaint little cafes thanks to Jouin and his team, Galeries Lafayette department store is now home to a generous 34,000 square feet of shoe shopping bliss. From Versace to Valentino, every label a fashionista dreams about is here under one roof. With personal chausseurs (that is footwear counsellors to you and me) to wait on you hand and foot, and a manicure parlour to open soon, it's hard to see what this department store doesn't have. Paris anyone?
