The model has mid-length hair with light movement, and a grown-out fringe, which is then cleansed and prepared using products from step 1.

Take a section from the crown, vertically, and divide it horizontally from ear to ear, just above the occipital bone.

Cut the perimeter length to strengthen the outline.

Working at the front of the head, take a section from ear to ear approximately 1/2" from the front hairline and comb with the natural fall of the hair.

Shape this section to give a feathered finish.

Blow-dry the hair using a ghd paddle brush.

Use the ghd original ceramic styling iron to give a smooth, flat finish.

Take a triangular section of hair, widest at the front hairline, coming to a rounded point at the crown and secure with a clip. Cut a human hair weft to the width of the hairline and use hair bonding glue to fix it close to the hairline.

Secure a second, longer weft around the edge of the triangle with glue to create greater density and length - this allows a strong shape to be cut into the weft without affecting the model's own hair.

Shape this section from the front to behind the ear. As you reach the fringe section, allow the natural hair to fall over the weft and cut to blend with the outline shape.
