GIRL’S BRIGADE

Girl’s Brigade

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to ditch the eyeliner, red lipstick and false lashes and look innocent and sweet. Make mum proud with a look that says butter wouldn’t melt in your mouth. Velvety, flawless skin, pastel tones and bubblegum blusher all create a fresh face which is bound to impress.

To get the look, first take direction from Lucia Pieroni, makeup artist at Alberta Ferretti, who massaged the models skin, giving them a mini-facial pre-show. Skin will be automatically revived, plumped and dewy.

Stay away from heavy foundations and instead stick with sheer formulations and concealer to hide those tell tale signs of a hedonistic lifestyle.

When it comes to faking 8 hours sleep, make blusher you new best friend; it instantly makes tired, dull skin look wide-awake and bright. Stella McCartney, Carolina Herrera and Hermes buffed bright cherry hues lightly onto the apples of the cheeks in a gentle pop of colour. At Victor & Rolf, cutesy sugar pink cheeks created a frivolous and light-hearted look. To get blushing beauty style use a cream blusher which blends seamlessly into the skin, giving a more natural finish.

Finish with a slick of peachy gloss on the lip and don’t forget to smile!
