Print this step-by-step to create the look
- Use ghd thermal protector for weak and damaged hair, followed by ghd uplift spray, and blow-dry the hair with a ghd paddle brush.
- The ghd IV mini styler is a great way to add flicks and movement to short, choppy styles.
- Take a section approximately one inch wide and insert the styler at the root area, as you would for straightening the hair. Slide the styler down the hair and, as you move towards the bottom, flick the styler outwards and upwards.
- Tip: The more you rotate the styler at the end of the section the bigger the flicks will be.
- Don't worry about the size and neatness of the sections - this adds to the texture.
- Work through the middle section of your hair the same way creating flicks and movement.
- For a funky finish, apply ghd precision wax and dishevel, then apply a light mist of ghd fixation spray for extra hold, if required.
