Bought as a replacement for my old GHD's that had seen better days - glad to see quality has not changed in the years since I bought my last pair. They heat up really fast, are great for creating either straight or curly styles and are easy to use. Nice touch with the heat resistant lining in the carry case too. Very happy :)

The GHD'S I bought are excellent, I have never used any kind of straighteners before on my hair. I get plenty of curl and body to my hair, my hair normally is very straight and fine and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone. Once you get used to them they're great and I would not be without them now.

This is the first ghd set I have purchased because I decided that it was time that I had my own instead of borrowing my daughters!
I love the colour and look of the silver gift set and the fact that I was told that the new ghd's were even kinder to my hair. Sadly though I have found that they just don't straighten my hair as well as my daughter's limited black set ghd set. I find that when I use my ghd's they feel like they are ripping my hair and I have to go over my hair several times. I really wish I had taken them back when I first purchased them but I decided to persist with them
because they look so lovely.

This is my 2nd pair of GHD's, I had my first pair or 5 years tn handed them on to my daughter and treated myself to some new ones. They are a great product and curl as well as straighten perfect

This is the 2nd GHD I have purchased and am bitterly disappointed. I still have my original GHD purchased years ago and bought another a second one to leave at my boyfriends place. The newer model is a far inferior product and leaves a lot to be desired. When mentioning my intent to purchase I was told by several hair dressers not to purchase a GHD but assumed this was because their salons had other preferred suppliers however it turns out they were 100% correct.
My hair is naturally very curly and I chemically straighten it and generally run over with a GHD to achieve a smoother finish. My 10yr old GHD achieves this with 2 passes the newer model requires around 5 passes and still fails to achieve the results of my old GHD which has never been serviced or repaired.
While my original GHD cost significantly more I assumed this was due to the competition in the market in recent years along with supply and demand but was left extremely disappointed to discover this was due to a massive drop in the overall quality and performance of the product.
This will be my final GHD purchase and I will no longer be recommending these to friends and family
