1. Introduction
1.1. This document sets out the terms and conditions (“Terms”) that apply to participation in the ghd Official Good Hair Day competition  (“Promotion”) via Email (e-news/ghdhair.com).
1.2. The promoter is Jemella Limited trading as ghd of 82-83 Dean St, London, United Kingdom, W1D 3SP (“Promoter”).
1.3. By entering this Promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility and how to enter
2.1. The Promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw. No purchase is necessary. The Promotor may require proof that an entrant is eligible to enter the promotion.
2.2. The competition Promotion will run from 21st March 2024 to 1st April 2024 at 9am (the “Promotion Period”). Any entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
2.3. To enter the Promotion, entrants must:
• have been invited to enter the promotion by ghd directly by email;
• have completed the “win a good hair day” form; and
• remain subscribed to ghd newsletter at the date of selecting a winner.
2.4. Entrants can submit only one entry during the Competition Period, and may only win once.
2.5. Entrants may not enter or upload any content which: contains any third party’s trademarks or intellectual property rights; infringes upon any third party’s rights; or is offensive, pornographic, illegal, unlawful or which, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, reflects negatively on the Promoter or its products. By entering this Promotion the entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against any third party claims for copyright infringement.
2.6. Entries containing any commercial logos, web addresses and any other commercial content will not be considered eligible.
2.7. The Promoter may disqualify any entry without notice or explanation if it contains anything that the Promoter regards, in its sole discretion, to be offensive or obscene in any way or to not be in compliance with these Terms.

3. Winner selection and prizes
3.1. There will be 1 winning entry  that will be selected from all valid entries within the Promotion Period. The winner will be selected at random by an independent person on 2nd April 2024.
3.2. The Winner shall receive: • 1 x ghd in-store styling experience and a ghd goody bag at the store (the ‘Prize’).
3.3. The Promoter will contact the Winner via Email 24 hours of the winner selection and the winner must take steps to book their in-store experience. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 4 days of the Promotor’s email, then the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.  The in-store experience must take place within six (6) months of the date of the drawing of the winners.
3.4. The Winner will have deemed to have forfeited the Prize if the Winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms. In the event the Winner is deemed to have forfeited the Prize, a new Winner will be selected.
3.5. The Winner will receive their Prize within six (6) weeks of claiming it subject always to the winner’s preferred booking time for their prize.
3.6. The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-refundable, and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize with a prize of equivalent or higher value if circumstances outside of its reasonable control makes it necessary to do so.
3.7. Prizes are for personal use only and may not be resold under any circumstances.

4. Privacy and publicity
4.1. As a result of an entrant’s participation in the Promotion the Promoter will collect certain personal data relating to entrants and potential Winners (including where appropriate, photographic or other personal identification in order to verify the identity of entrants and/or Winners). The information will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy at https://www.ghdhair.com/about-ghd/terms-and-conditions. By entering the Promotion (and/or accepting the Prize if you are a Winner) you consent to such processing and you confirm that all data provided by you is truthful and accurate.

4.2 The Winner agrees to take part in post-event publicity to advertise the winner and their prizes. Such promotion may take the form of interviews, attending events [   ] and advertising on the Promotor’s website and social media pages.
4.3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and country of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails customerservice@ghdhair.com within three months from the end of the Promotion Period. If you object to any or all of your surname, country and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at customerservice@ghdhair.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

5. Intellectual Property
5.1. All entries submitted must be the original work of the entrant submitting them, who must be the copyright holder.
5.2. The Promoter may, in their sole discretion, make your entry available on its website and in any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence in perpetuity, for the full period of the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.

6. General
6.1. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
6.2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion at any time where it becomes necessary to do so. Any changes will be communicated on the Promoter's website.
6.3. These Terms are governed by English law and entrants to the Promotion submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

6.6. In so far as it is permitted by law, the Promoter will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damages, injury, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by entrants in relation to participation in the Promotion and/or the use of any Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6.7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed or received for any reason including due to equipment failure, technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, systems, satellite network, software, hardware or server failure of any kind. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs, the Promotor does not take any responsibility for incomplete entries or entries not received for any reason. The Promotor will not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry into the competition.

Referrer Rewards

  • The referrer is offered 20% off one order for each friend who orders for the first time.
