FASHION NEWSPAPER
When English photographer Martin Parr and designer Paul Smith collaborated, the result was a set of photographs taken on the streets of London of unwitting street-stylers wearing the latest winter collection. Produced on pink newsprint and called “Fashion Newspaper”, the shots appeared alongside other works by Parr, available from Paul Smith boutiques.

CAROLINE SWIFT
Launching her debut collection at Tent London in September, Caroline Swift has produced a range of ceramics and glassware all running under the principle of ‘slow design’ – basically, meaning hand finished pieces made with lots of loving care. As fragile as can be, these Italian-made blown glass baubles in black amethyst can be filled with water and used to display blooms. Available in sets of three or six.

VITAMIN E
Personally, I’ve been a fan of the Jo Malone Vitamin E gel – not since its launch over 20 years ago – but indeed, for a very long time. As its popularity has now gotten so big, the company has introduced its first two body-based treatments. While the Body Treatment Oil softens and conditions skin, the Body Treatment Scrub gently exfoliates the skin, removing toxins and leaving skin looking radiant and smooth. £49 and £59 respectively.

RUGGED UP
Ever regretted not making that textile purchase when you were traipsing round the souks in Istanbul and Marrakech? Well, fear not. Bringing the tribal vibe to the high street, Habitat have collaborated with Italian designer Paola Navone with a series of black and white rugs, which are sold in clashing trios. And let’s face it, whether tribal luxe may come and go, black and white is never out of style.
From the VIP Collection, £199 for three.
