ghd hair director Alan White describes the runway hair looks this season as cool and beautifully tribal, with polish. The graphic line and the loop ponytail are representative of the nomadic element that he integrated into the SS16 campaign hair look. Here, he reveals his five-step process created with ghd products.
On freshly-washed and lightly towel-dried hair, apply ghd total volume foam evenly through hair to create beautiful, healthy volume
While blow-drying using ghd aura®, focus on enhancing natural movements, maintaining layering that frames the face. Using a round brush, dry products into hair, create volume and softness through the ends using a round brush.
Tip: Don't over-dry the hair and avoid creating flyaways. Work towards shine and softness.
Using the ghd platinum® styler, follow the movement through the midlengths, using similar sectioning to your blow-dry to seal in polish and shine.
Make a horseshoe section from the temples, back to below the crown, keeping the natural layering as it falls. Secure hair into a ponytail below the crown. Loop the pony and tie off.
