#ghdfashionweek: Ferragamo
Join ghd behind the scenes at Milan Fashion Week and take a look at the Salvatore Ferragamo AW19 collection, with hair styled by Jimmy Paul.
Backstage at the Salvatore Ferragamo AW19 show, the ghd-stylist team created sophisticated and ultra-modern hair looks, crafting a representative interpretation of the spirit which distinguishes the brand. Guillaime Meilland and Paul Andrew delineate with this fashion show a new creative horizon based on a different concept of luxury.

"I was inspired by the architecture of the Milanese urban scenery and created looks that represented the unceasing rhythms of the city and matched the elegant craftsmanship of the collection" insights from backstage of the AW19 collection with lead hairstylist Jimmy Paul, supported by the ghd team at the event.
Jimmy Paul created modern and extreme looks, perfectly in line with the refined elegance of the feminine and the Salvatore Ferragamo imagination.

Get the Look:
For the AW19 fashion show, the hairstylist team led by Jimmy Paul created wet and dry looks to introduce a boyish aesthetic, rich in shades and imperfections.
To create the base of the hair looks, a perfect reflection and combination of trends from the 50s and 80s, the lead hairstylist spritzed hair with water to make them moist in preparation of the styling.
Next, ghd straight and tame cream was applied to hold and model the hair. ghd total volume foam, was also used liberally to create a side parting and produce extreme volume and shine in the frontal section of the hair, to create extreme and impactful looks.
For a natural and soft affect, the ghd air® hairdryer was used to fix the look in place and give extra sleek shine for the catwalk.
Lastly, Jimmy Paul, confided in one of his must-have backstage products, ghd final fix hair spray, to add a broken and soft feel to the different looks, channeling the androgynous inspiration.
