Mollie King X ghd : Embellished Rope Braid
Get that bohemian look at your next festival with an adorned braid, from the ghd Coachella 2017 collection.
Let textured and twists be your go-to festival hair this summer. From hip-hop to heavy metal, braids are all over the festival scene at the minute – but that doesn’t mean yours should conform. Make your festival hair the main stage by working textured waves and adorned braids to achieve all-out style.
Get those enviably-deep waves with help from the ghd platinum® tropic sky styler, giving you guaranteed long-lasting festival hairstyles. When it comes to the braids, be a style trail blazer and opt for a loose thin roped-twisted braid and make sure it’s embellished to the max with glitter and hair rings.
Hail to the braids and waves at your next festival. We styled singer-cum-blogging sensation Mollie King with this look at Coachella 2017 – find out how you can look as bohemian as Mollie with our step-by-step guide

HOW TO CREATE AN EMBELLISHED ROPE BRAID
1. Add undone texture to the hair by prepping with ghd curl hold spray and blow dry into hair using the ghd flight® wanderlust travel hairdryer.
2. Create loose waves all over by using the ghd platinum® tropic sky styler. Place the styler vertically into the root of the hair and twist the styler 360 degrees as you push it through to the ends of the hair.
3. Create a deep side parting and then add a rope twist braid to one side of the hair taking two pieces of hair and twisting them in the same direction, then cross over in the opposite direction. Gently pull apart the twist to loosen and create a more effortless finish.
4. Add embellishment to the rope braid by placing hair rings sporadically through the braid.
5. Set the look by using ghd final fix hairspray.
