Hit a beauty high and let your tresses do their thing with these hairstyles for straight hair.

Sleek pony

Spice up your style with a super high pony. Sleek and sophisticated, naturally straight tresses are the perfect fit for this hairstyle. Get the minimalistic updo by following these simple steps:

step one:
Glide the ghd platinum+ black styler through your locks to add extra shine.

step two:
Brush all your hair tightly towards the crown of your head and create a ponytail. Secure in place with a hair tie.

step three:
Wrap a small section of hair from the ponytail around its base. Use a hair pin to secure in place.

Curled ends

Give your hair a boost of volume with a set of bouncy curls. Rather than creating a full mane of spirals, leave your locks naturally straight and add texture and movement to your ends.

step one:
Take a two-inch section of hair and prep with ghd curl hold spray

step two:
Holding the ghd curve® soft curl tong horizontally, flat wrap just the ends of your hair around the barrel. Hold in place for five to eight seconds and release.

step three:
Repeat the technique throughout the ends of your hair, alternating the direction in which you wrap the curl.

step four:
Once all your ends are curled, lightly brush through your hair with the ghd oval dressing brush to make your curls ultra-soft.

Simply Straight

Keep your look timeless and let your locks flow with a classic straight down-do. A satin finish adds a modern touch to this timeless look – all you need are the right tools and products to achieve the coveted glossy style

Create a centre parting.

step two:
Using the ghd oval dressing brush, brush from the root to the ends, setting the style and increasing shine.

step three:
Massage one pump of ghd smooth & finish serum between your palms and fingers until they’re evenly covered then work through mid-lengths and ends of your locks.

Braided fringe

Inject a dose of boho-luxe into your look with a simple braided fringe. Plaited in an intricate French style, it can give straight hair extra texture in a matter of minutes. Get instant laidback appeal with this effortless mini braid.

step one:
Create a deep side parting with the ghd tail comb.

step two:
At the front of your hairline on the heavier side of your parting, take a three-inch piece of hair and separate into three sections.

step three:
Begin braiding down the side of your head, crossing the right section over the middle, then crossing the left over the middle.

step four:
Continue to braid, adding in more hair to your plait as you go.

step five:
Finish the braid just above your ear and secure with hair pins

Fishtail half updo

Take the ultra-cool fishtail braid to a new level with a chic half updo style. It’s the perfect way to add an edge to naturally straight locks without spending too much time achieving the look.

step one:
On either side of your natural parting, create two sections of hair that go from the parting down to your ear.

step two:
Take both sections and pull them towards the back of your head into a ponytail. Secure in place with a hair tie at the bottom of your crown.

step three:
Divide the ponytail into two sections.

step four:
Take a small piece of hair from the outside of the left section and cross it over the top and add it to the right section.

step five:
On the right section, take a small piece of hair from the outside and cross it over the top and add it to the left section.

step six:
Repeat steps four and five alternately, continuing to braid to the end of the ponytail. Secure in place with a hair tie.

step seven:
Undo the top hair tie at the base of the ponytail, then use your fingers to gently loosen and tease your fishtail braid.

Make straight hair your signature look, with this collection of easy hairstyles. Play with braided accents, create slick updos and add drama to your ends – naturally straight hair never looked so good.
