step three: Blow-dry hair away from face
Using a ghd paddle brush blow dry the hair back and away from your face with ghd air® hairdryer.

step four: Take ear to ear section, place styler at root

step seven: Work towards top of head
Work up the head in sections towards the top of the head.

step eight: At back, take horizontal section and turn a quarter turn backwards
On the last section at the top of the head, you want to start creating volume. To do this, take horizontal sections starting at the back, place styler in at the root and rotate quarter of a turn backwards.

step nine: Glide up and back
Close the plates then glide the styler up and back.

step ten: Continue on front sections
Continue this technique to the front of the head.

step eleven: Work volume foam into hair
Apply ghd total volume foam to hands and smooth into sides.

step twelve: Comb sides of hair back
Comb the sides of your hair back and tuck behind the ears, securing with a grip if needed.

step thirteen: Add gel/foam to comb
Apply a generous amount of gel or foam to a comb.

step fourteen: Brush top section back
Brush the top section back allowing the foam/gel to saturate the roots.

step fifteen: Lift at roots with fingers
To create the desired style, lift the hair at the roots with your fingers.

step sixteen: Immediately spray with final fix hairspray
Immediately apply ghd final fix hairspray to the roots and sides, smoothing the sides back with your fingertips.
