Top holiday hair tips for different hair types

FINE AND STRAIGHT HAIR
Jo says:
"This hair type tends to flop in the heat so attempting to blow-dry product into it will be a battle against the elements! Master some simple hair-ups; try on-trend braids and buns to keep hair away from the face."

CURLY HAIR
Jo says:
"If you’re going somewhere humid, work with your natural texture and not against it! Try a product that has anti-humidity properties to infuse hair with moisture and prevent curls from going frizzy."

FRINGES
Jo says:
"Maintaining a fringe in hot and humid weather can be a nightmare! Take lots of small kirby grips and use those to braid or twist the fringe away from the face. Tuck it away under the hair and it will look like a longer piece of hair!"
THICK AND HEAVY HAIR
Jo says:
"Maximise any texture you have in your hair! Cream-based products have lots of moisture in them and are great to use when your hair has been drying out in the sun."

SHORT HAIR
Jo says:
"If you have short hair, you need to rethink your products! Waxes will make your hair wilt - invest in texturising sprays or creams instead and don't forget to accessorise! Small flowers and bows add a summery detail to shorter styles."
