STEP-BY-STEPS
Here’s how to create a plumped up braid
1. Create triangle section of hair and secure rest away
2. Take small section, place in crimper at root and hold
3. Continue down to the end of the section
4. Create French plait at back of head
5. Add hairband to end

step one: Section hair from ear to ear and crimp to tip
Prepare the hair with ghd heat protect spray, before sectioning the hair at below the ear from side to side. Then, starting at the top of section, begin to crimp along entire length of hair using the ghd contour™ .

step two: Crimp layers of hair
Continue working through the hair with the ghd contour®, adding in extra layers each time the previous is completed. It is important to ensure you don’t crimp hair above the ear level.

step three: Brush out with dressing brush
To soften the texture, gently brush through the crimped hair using the ghd oval dressing brush.

step four: Create French plait at back of head
Using a French plait technique, start at the back of the head and create a crimped braid.
TIP: Pull the braid out to soften and bulk out further.

step five: Add hairband to end
To finish your plumped up braid, add an embellished band to the end of the crimped braid to match your outfit.
