1. Prep the hair with product
2. Section the hair horizontally from ear-to-ear
3. Brush through the lower section with a hairbrush
4. Take a one-inch piece and place styler at the root
5. Close the plates and glide the styler through the hair
6. Continue working around the head in sections
7. Pull the hair back into a pony at the crown
8. Take a small section from underneath
the pony and wrap it around the bungee
9. Every two inches down the pony, add another elastic
10. Continue until you reach the end of the pony
11. Pinch and pull the sections of hair in between
the elastics to desired bubble size

step one: Prep the hair with product
Spritz the hair from root to tip with ghd heat protect spray to protect your hair from everyday heat.

step two: Section the hair horizontally from ear-to-ear
Using your fingers, section off the top half of your locks and clip it up out of the way.

step three: Brush through the lower section with a hairbrush
Brush through the bottom section of your hair with the ghd oval dressing brush for a smooth, static-free finish.

step four: Take a one-inch section of hair and place styler at the root
From the bottom half of your locks, take a one-inch section and place the ghd gold® styler at the root.

step five: Close the plates and glide the styler through the hair
Close the plates of your styler to lock the hair in place. Glide the styler down the hair, from root to tip, for a polished and straight finish.

step six: Continue working around the head in sections
Continue to work around the head in one-inch sections, including the top half, until all the hair is straight.

step seven: Pull the hair back into a pony at the crown
Take all the hair back into a pony at the crown, smoothing with the ghd oval dressing brush as you go to get a sleek finish. Secure in place with a bungee.

step eight: Take a small piece from underneath the pony and wrap it around the bungee
Take a small piece of hair from underneath the pony and wrap it around the base of the ponytail to hide the bungee.

step nine: Every two inches down the pony, add another elastic
To create a bubble ponytail effect, add an elastic every two inches down the pony.

step ten: Continue until you reach the end of the pony
Repeat step nine, adding elastics until you reach the end of the pony.

step eleven: Pinch and pull the sections of hair in between the elastics to desired bubble size
To add volume and shape to your bubble ponytail, pinch and pull the sections of hair in between the elastics.
