Here’s how to create Farrah Flare waves
1. Spray hair with curl hold spray
2. Dry in using hairdryer
3. Create centre parting
4. Create diagonal section from parting to nape
5. Divide into sub-sections
6. Place hair in styler, rotate one turn and glide through
7. Curl created
8. Repeat step 7
9. Work fingers through curls
step one: Spray hair with curl hold spray
To prepare the dry hair, spritz with ghd curl hold spray ensuring a good even spread.
step three: Create centre parting
Create a centre parting with the ghd paddle brush.
step four: Create diagonal section from parting to nape
Section the hair in a diagonal direction starting from the parting to the nape.
step five: Divide into sub-sections
Then, take the diagonal section and split into sub-section.
step six: Place hair in styler, rotate one turn and glide through
Place one of the sub-sections between the plates of the ghd platinum® styler, and holding the styler in the same diagonal direction, slowly rotate 360 degrees and gently pull through to the ends of the hair.
step seven: Curl created
This technique will create a defined curl.
step eight: Repeat step 7
Continue with step seven across the whole head until all of the hair has been curled.
step nine: Work fingers through curls
Loosen and stretch the curls with fingertips to create voluminous wavy hair.
