HERE’S HOW TO CREATE A BRAIDED BAND UPDO
1. Curl hair and brush through to create waves.
2. Pull hair into ponytail, leaving front section of parting out.
3. Braid front section.
4. Wrap braid around pony and secure.

step one: Curl hair and brush through to create waves
Curl your hair in one direction using the ghd curve ® classic curl tong and brush through using a ghd paddle brush to create soft waves on ends of hair.

step two: Pull hair into ponytail, leaving front section of parting out
Pull your hair back into a ponytail, leaving a front panel of hair out from the parting down just behind the ear - this section will form the braid.

step three: Braid front section
Start to braid the front section of your parting, adding hair into the middle strand from each side as you work down towards the ends. Secure with elastic.

step four: Wrap braid around pony and secure
Wrap the braid around the base of the ponytail to cover the elastic, then secure the braid in place using a pin.
TIP: Add volume to your wedding guest hair by using fingers to pull each side of the braid.
