Where do you find inspiration for your hairstyles?
I love searching through Pinterest or the Instagram explore feed!
What is your signature style when it comes to hair and makeup?
Soft, undone waves with a bold lip color!
What is your favorite hairstyle for Spring & why?
I’ve really loved the very deep, disheveled side parts. It’s a relaxed look but also quite feminine with the hair falling over one eye.
What are your tips to achieving fresh Spring hairstyles?
Find a texture spray that you love, and embrace your natural texture as well! Trends are getting more and more relaxed, which I love, and the less you mess with your hair, the better!
What would your dream Spring Break look like?
Anywhere with a spa. I mean that, I don’t care where it is as long as there is a spa!
What is one hair trend you are seeing this Spring that you think is here to stay?
I DON’T think the colored hair will stick around, but I do thing the choppy, tousled bobs will stick around for awhile!
What’s your go to style for the following:
1) Date Night: something classic like jeans and a black blouse with statement earrings and a bold lip color!
2) Brunch With Friends: A loose, flowy dress and a high messy bun.
3) Pool Party: My bathing suit, of course, and a low side braid.
4) Music Festival: Distressed denim shorts, a simple v-neck t shirt, a few long necklaces and my hair half up in undone waves.
What advice would you give to someone who is new at braiding? Work with big sections under you feel comfortable with the rhythm of it! Work smaller once you get comfortable, and hold onto the sections firmly!
What is the best hair advice and/or tip you’ve ever been given?
Healthy hair is always classic! Don’t skip deep conditioning if your ends are dry or damaged!
Who is your style icon?
Reese Witherspoon! She can do no wrong!
