Danielle Peazer X ghd:
Get your festival look nailed this summer. ghd meets dancer and fitness blogger Danielle Peazer for the low-down on what's hot this year and how to get the best out festival hairstyles for Coachella 2018.
Q: What are your 5 festival beauty essentials?
ghd heat protect spray with UV protection, Antibacterial hand gel, lip balm, a spare hand band, a mini bottle of SPF to re apply during the day.
Q: What’s your go-to festival hairstyle?
Something beach-y that doesn't look too 'done' I'm all about ease and freedom when it comes to festival hair.
Q: What does your day-to-day hair routine look like?
Pretty simple, I don't like to fuss, I'll run my ghd earth gold styler through it in the morning and then use either some fix spray or dry shampoo to add texture.
Q: Describe your festival style in 3 words.
Care free, with fringing (usually) and machine washable.
Q: What would be your dream festival line-up?
Probably Coachella this year, Beyonce, Eminem and The Weeknd. Plus Cardi B's also playing so you know it's gonna be a fun one!
Q: What’s your go-to festival look?
I try to stay simple and something that I know I'll be comfortable in all day, possibly some sort of boho top and some denim cut off shorts.
Q: Fave hair accessory?
Ribbon, I love how versatile it can be, you can add it into a braid, add it into a ponytail or even wrap it around a bun.
Q: Which artist’s music can you not help but dance to?
Q: What’s your fave festival food?
I love that everything is in mini versions at festival, I'm a sucker for a mini fish and chips.
Q: Who is your festival inspo – for clothes and hair?
I think Shay Mitchell pulls of festival fashion really well. And Josephine Skriver has great festival hair. I tend to browse on Instagram and screenshot photos of girls I don't even know but I think look cool.
Q: Where would you hold your dream festival and who would perform?
I'd love to say I'd host it in my back garden but it'd probably rain so I'll say somewhere like Hawaii and I'd have the Spice Girls reunite especially!
Q: Who inspired you to start making YouTube videos?
I was inspired by my followers who said they wanted to know about me, what better way for them to learn more about me than from me, myself and I. It's a great way to interact with them and show them the parts of me that they've always wanted to see.
Q: What’s your favourite type of video to film?
I love filming my fitness videos just because I get to create content and get a workout in at the same time. Besides that I would say I love filming videos with my boyfriend Joe as we always have such a laugh whether it be a tutorial type video or even a vlog.
Q: What’s your go-to hair product?
What hair product could you not live without? Hair oil, because my hair is naturally dry. And a final shine spray. OK that's 2 but I couldn't pick just one!
