Mini slim plate stylers are great for travelling stylish compact and from a great brand, I found my hair was to long for these straightener that are for short hair and fringes as my hair got caught a couple of times when I was using them, my friend tried them as her hair is short and she said they were easy to use. Can be used to straighten your hair if or curl or waves They have slim Dual-Zone technology and a handy cover to place over the end of the straighter so they can be put away straight away without he need to wait for them to cool down. Also for extra security they automatically turn off if not used for 30mins

The only reason I have given this 4 stars is because it’s not quite suitable for my hair. That doesn’t mean it’s not a great product though. I have coloured, very thick, long and frizzy hair and this product have given me the sleekest and straightest hair I’ve had in a long time! Before straightening I used the GHD heat protect spray which I always find helps my hair to be even smoother when straightening it. Although it was a little time consuming because of the smaller plate size I’m used to, once sectioned it means every strand of hair is being styled. The plates ran through my hair very smoothly and didn’t drag at all. I am someone who tends to wear my hair naturally and my hair type is curly/wavy. These straighteners would be perfect to “top up” and curl any pieces of hair that are straighter than the others. I did test curling part of my hair and found it to be very easy and I’m usually someone that struggles to curl hair with straighteners. They're also great for styling your fringe/bangs quickly and efficiently. The straighteners are very lightweight with a generous wire that’s long enough to plug into your nearest socket. It would be perfect to travel with because of size and another plus is that it’s very lightweight. They also turn on and heat up within seconds! Overall, I think these mini straighteners would be much more suited to someone with shorter or thinner hair than myself. A brilliant product that I would definitely recommend.

Had my mini straighteners for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love them. They are perfect for my fringe and really get to my roots. I have fine hair so don’t struggle with getting the mini straighteners through it. I use them every morning for a freshen up of my hair and my hair is so soft after. They are the perfect size to taking on holiday especially if you have just hand luggage.

They have very small plates, which means they are really good in some ways but not so helpful in others. Pro's: The straighteners heat up to a high temperature very quickly, which is great. The plates allowed me to get closer to the root of my hair in comparison to those with wider plates, this meant I had a much smoother look when wearing my hair down at the parting (usually I am always unhappy with this part of my look!). They're also great for curling hair, I managed to achieve some very nice ringlets with these straighteners, great for a special occasion! They come with a really long lead and a silicone cover that protects surfaces from the heat after you've finished with them. Con's: I have quite long hair, that is very thick and frizzy, as the plates are fairly small it did take a long time to straighten all of my hair. Wider plates are much easier for this, but also have other drawbacks! Ultimately, for my length and thickness of hair, these work well in conjunction with my regular GHD straighteners, but if I had shorter hair I would have given them the full five stars!
