The quirky quiff: ghd hairstyle tutorial
1. Add volume
Work a generous amount of ghd Style Total Volume Foam through the hair, concentrating on the roots. Dry in the product with your hairdryer using a low heat and speed setting.
2. Section & Smooth
Create a V-section at the front of your hair, with the widest part at your hairline, and clip out the way. Smooth back the sides of your hair with the ghd Natural Bristle Radial Brush (size 2) as though you’re creating a pony.
3. Cheat the pleat
Loosely twist your ‘pony’ upwards to create a faux French Pleat. Keep twisting until only the ends are left. Pin along the pleat to secure, then tuck in the ends and pin those in place, too.
4. Quiff it up
Unpin your front section and, using your radial brush, backcomb until it stands on its own. Mist with ghd Style Final Fix hairspray before using the ghd Gold classic styler over the section to compress the hair. Roll the hair into a quiff and secure with a pin.
5. Finishing touch
Pull some strands out around your face to soften the look and give it an undone feel.
