I have had many pairs of GHD standard hair straighteners over the year including three pairs in the last ten years. They all seemed to go faulty out of guarantee. I was unsure if to try a different brand this time, as I use them every day. But with the black Friday deal added with a generous loyalty discount made GHDs very reasonable. I brought a different style this time hoping that the more expensive straighteners will be better and last longer than my others have. But I'm disappointed, I sometimes struggle to curl my bobbed hair under.

Really love these straighteners, however, there is a small design flaw with a small groove next to the heating plates which snags hair strands. Other than that, they are great and make my hair look shiny and healthy.

I have used my old straighteners for years and thought they did the job until now. These straighteners are amazing, with one or two strokes my hair is poker straight with no little fly away hairs! They heat up quickly and glide effortlessly, I used to spend so much longer straightening my hair, probably damaging it. Now I’m ready quicker and hair feels great!
