Here’s how to create new wave curls
1. Create parting and prep hair
2. Wrap section of hair around curl wand
3. Hold, allow to cool and repeat
4. Unclip back section, repeat steps 2 and 3
5. Loosen curls with comb and finish with hairspray
step one: Create parting and prep hair
Select your desired parting and section hair from crown to ears, clipping away back section. Take a diagonal section 4cm above the ear and spritz with ghd style curl hold spray.
step two: Wrap section of hair around curl wand
Keeping the hair flat, place the ghd curve® creative curl wand under the section of hair and wrap hair from the base of the barrel towards the cool tip, creating volume at the root.
step three: Hold, allow to cool and repeat
Hold for 5-8 seconds then unwrap the section and leave to cool. Continue this technique, working upward towards the parting on both sides.
step four: Unclip back section, repeat steps 2 and 3
Unclip the back section. Then, taking diagonal sections towards the center nape on either side of the head, use the same technique seen in steps two and three to complete.
