7. Work up through the fringe in sections

hair, wrap and hold
12. Continue around the head, alternating the direction
you wrap the hair around the styler
13. Run your fingers through the waves
14. Finish with a mist of product
step one: Separate the fringe from the rest of the hair
Section off your fringe from the rest of your locks and hold in your hands.
step two: Apply product to the roots
Working in layers, spray the roots of your fringe with ghd root lift spray for extra volume.
step three: Take a small section, place the styler at the roots and close the plates
Take the ghd ceramic vented radial brush size 4 and position under a horizontal section of your fringe at the hairline.
step four: Position hair dryer above fringe, directing airflow from root to tips
Set the ghd air® hair dryer to a medium heat and medium speed. Then hold it above the fringe with the airflow directed from root to tip.
step five: Lift brush up and away and follow with hair dryer
Slowly lift the brush up and away from the root, moving to the ends of the fringe and following with the hair dryer.
step six: Repeat steps three to five on the next section of hair, but rotate the styler towards the face
Take another small piece of hair and repeat steps three to five with the styler rotated 180° in the opposite direction, towards your face. Alternating the direction will help to create a natural effect.
Tip: Mist with ghd final fix hairspray for long-lasting hold.
step seven: Work up through the fringe in sections
Repeat steps three to six through the rest of the fringe, working up through the hair in horizontal sections.
step eight: At the top section, pinch the roots with your hands
Once the hair is dry, clasp the roots at the top of the section with your hand to add extra volume.
step ten: Place styler on top of hair, wrap around the barrel and hold for eight seconds
Take a piece of hair and position the styler on top, near the root. Wrap the hair around the barrel and hold in place for eight seconds to achieve natural-looking curls.
step eleven: Position the styler underneath the next section of hair, wrap and hold
In the next section, place the styler underneath your locks, wrap the hair around the wand in the opposite direction and hold for eight seconds.
step twelve: Continue around the head, alternating the direction you wrap the hair around the styler
Repeat steps 10 and 11 around the rest of your locks. Alternate the direction of the curls by positioning the wand above or below the section of hair.
step thirteen: Run your fingers through the waves
Once all the hair has been styled, run your fingers through the curls to create soft, loose waves.
