The ghd Platinum+ Styler 1” is such a luxurious styling tool. This flat iron is a smart flat iron meaning it reads your hair’s needs while you are using it. It also never goes above 365 degrees so it never burns your hair. My hair is so shiny and smooth. I can also make loose waves to my hair which is an added bonus. I also like that it has an automatic sleep mode as well as well as universal voltage so you can use it anywhere in the world! It is a very well-made flat iron. It also has a long cord allowing you to style anywhere. I would definitely recommend this hair tool.

Too good to be true

I was SO EXCITED for this Styler. I heat style my hair every day and was about due for a new flat iron. Its beautifully packaged and very sleek. I read the instructions and it was simple- turn it on, wait 30 seconds and good to go. The first thing I noticed is there is no temperature setting. I used it on half my hair and it was amazingly sleek, so I finished the other side. This is where the good ends. I went to my monthly hair appointment the following day and my hairdresser said my ends of my hair were fried- she asked if I did something different. Oops. A quick Google search discovered this tools auto temp is 365 degrees.. I heat style at 310. There is no way to turn it down.. so it became a "no" for me. Cool concept, not one size fits all.

Wow — straight hair in seconds!

I’ve been needing a new flat iron for a while so I was so excited to try this ghd Platinum+ Styler flat iron. The flat iron is so easy to use and have some cool features. Once it’s plugged in and you press the power button, it plays a little tune to indicate it’s on. The iron heats up pretty quickly — less than 30 seconds and tells you it’s ready to use with another tune. Im super impressed with how well this flat iron works — not only does it heat up in seconds; it also straightens my hair in less than 5 mins. The heat is super powerful. My old iron took forever to heat up and did not really straighten as well as this. This ghd flat iron also has other safety features like sleep mode, protect mode, and fail safe. I love that it comes with a heat proof plate guard to store and place the flat iron in after use to protect yourself from the heat while it’s cooling down.

Amazing flat iron! Super light weight and heats up so quickly. Only takes 2 passes on my wavy hair to straighten out and makes it so soft and silky. Love GHD PRODUCTS!

I love this flat iron and I don’t know if it’s because I was due for one or what. The temperature gets to a perfect temp. This is unfortunately not cordless but that would make this even more great if it was.
