STEP BY STEPS

STEP 1

CREATE CENTRE PARTING

Brush hair with the ghd paddle brush into a centre parting.

STEP 2

TAKE SECTION FROM PARTING AND SPLIT INTO 3

On the lower side of the parting, take a section and split into three.

STEP 3

PASS THE LEFT SIDE UNDER THE CENTRE

Take the strand of hair on the left hand side and pass it underneath the centre strand.

STEP 4

TAKE THE RIGHT AND PASS UNDER THE CENTRE

Then take the strand of hair on the right-hand side and pass under the centre.

STEP 5

ADD EXTRA HAIR IN AND REPEAT TECHNIQUE

On the second pass, start to add a small amount of hair as you braid, take the time to ensure it’s neat, and then pass under the centre.

STEP 6

REPEAT STEPS 4, 5 AND 6

Continue this action from right to left, continually adding hair and passing under each time.

STEP 7

CONTINUE BRAIDING UP TO 1 INCH FROM HAIRLINE

As you start to come to the bottom of the ear, continue braiding around the head with the same action – keeping the braid about an inch from the hairline.
