STEP-BY-STEPS

Step one: Prep damp locks
Spritz damp hair with ghd straight and smooth spray. This innovative product will help protect tresses from heat damage and add a silky finish to your final look.

Step two: Blow-dry hair
Starting at the nape of the neck, blow-dry the hair using the ghd air® hairdryer and ghd ceramic vented radial brush size 3, styling into a side parting. Take a 1-inch section and wrap it around your brush. Direct the air flow down onto the hair and move the brush from roots to ends with the hairdryer.
TIP: Keep the ends of the hair wrapped around the brush for a few seconds and use the cool shot button to set the hair into the shape of the brush, to achieve a soft bevelled finish.

Step three: straighten your tresses
Take a 2-3 inch section of hair and place in between the plates of the ghd platinum+ styler, starting at the root. Gently glide the styler from roots to ends, creating a high shine finish. As you come to the last 2-inches of hair, twist the styler inwards, to create a soft, bevelled look that frames your face.

Step four: add your hair accessories
Place the hair accessories on one side of your parting where your hair is thicker and aim to keep the pins and clips around eye level. Use as many or a few as you like to create your desired look.
Don’t go for perfection with this look - a little mismatching style and a collection of different pins will add to the drama and glamour of this look. Keep all the clips on one side of your head and don’t worry about spreading out evenly, to create a much more edgy look.
Adorn your locks with glittering, colourful pins or make a statement with a gold feature clip – whichever style you choose, hair accessories can enhance your look. Discover how to include these stunning extras into your straight hairstyle with the help of this ghd guide.
