I’ve been lucky enough to test the brand-new GHD Sculpt Professional Styler and I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed. The first thing I noticed was how sleek and premium it feels. The smooth plates glide effortlessly through my hair without pulling or snagging making styling feel really easy - the plates also have tiny specks of glitter. What really sets this styler apart is its new intelligent-learning technology. Instead of simply heating the plates to one fixed temperature, it controls the temperature of my hair for a more personalised styling experience. I love knowing it’s designed to help protect my hair’s natural structure while still giving me the smooth, sleek finish I want. As someone with long, naturally curly hair that’s prone to dryness/breakage from heat styling, this was a huge selling point for me. My hair felt noticeably softer after styling, looked shinier and stayed smooth without feeling over-processed. It also heats up incredibly quickly, so I can get ready in less time and I only needed one or two passes on each section to achieve a sleek finish. Overall, I think GHD has taken hair straightening to the next level with the Sculpt Professional Styler. If you’re looking for a premium straightener that delivers beautiful results while putting hair health at the forefront, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

I’ve been using the GHD Sculpt and overall I’m really pleased with it. It’s small, lightweight and easy to hold, so it feels much less awkward than some other styling tools. I mainly use it to flick the ends of my hair under, and it gives my hair a smoother, more finished look without taking too long. The curls also hold well, which is a big plus. I have long, highlighted blonde hair which is slightly dry and damaged from colouring, but the styler made my hair feel better, almost as though it was more protected from the heat. It took a little practice to get both sides even, but once I got used to it, it was straightforward and easy to control. The only thing I’m not so keen on is the holder it sits in. It does what it is meant to do, but I’m not keen on the look of it. That said, the tool itself works well and gives good results. I wouldn’t say it’s completely perfect, but it’s definitely a handy styling tool and one I can see myself continuing to use regularly.

I tried the ghd sculpt in black and loved how it made my hair feel silky and smooth. It was easy to use and had a funky noise when you turned it on and when it was ready to use not just a standard beep. The plug is bulkier than your average plug but all in all a great straightner which i would recommend.

I have only ever had GHD straighteners and they have consistently been amazing - only improving over the years. The GHD sculpt straighteners are testament to this. First impressions are that they look great, they are smaller but without losing the plate width and are very lightweight. The sound they make when switched on and are ready to use is nice and improved from my current platinum straighteners. Heat up time is fast - around 15 seconds and I particularly like that the straighteners will go into sleep mode if there has been no use after 10 minutes. I have used the straighteners for both straightening and curling my hair with excellent results. Straightening gives my hair a nice and sleek look whilst smoothing any frizz. When I curled my hair the curls looked great and lasted for at least 24 hours (I actually think it was longer). The plates are very smooth and there is no snagging whatsoever. I am very happy with this product.

I tend you use my GHDs to curl my hair now with a little bit of straightening first to remove the wave. It was noticeable with this product that my hair was not getting as hot as it usually does and it was a lot easier to handle the hair itself. It gave a really nice shine and curl to the hair. I think if I was to fully straighten my hair it would take a bit more time than usual as to straighten it took a few attempts. The grip on the product was more comfortable to hold and a sleek design. Overall a good product but I would say my curl didn’t hold as long. However it was a warm day in and out of bars.
