Blow-dry effect from the comfort of your home!
I received the GHD Rise for my birthday and I’m so glad I did. I recently had my hair cut with long layers and this tool really gives an amazing salon-worthy blow dry effect. The curls created from this tool are perfect and I find that they hold into place for a while, even from having thick hair! The tool heats up quickly and I much prefer the GHD Rise to a standard curling wand, as you don’t seem to burn yourself as easily. It is best to start with smaller sections so the hair goes around the brush smoothly without getting stuck, rather than larger sections, as the hair can get a bit tangled up. My father is also a hairdresser and thinks this tool is of a very good standard. You must buy this product, you won’t be disappointed!

Still on the fence! Frizzy wavy hair review

I am still on the fence with how good I would rate these. I have used for 2 months, both with extensions and without. I naturally have super frizzy, wavy, fine hair, and while this tool gets very hot and looks lovely, I found the hard short bristles (they are not metal or different lengths like a round brush) are quite hard to work with, and do not pick up / cling onto your hair how a round brush would. As if the tool is too smooth with no grip almost and the hair keeps slipping out? I found it would only curl the ends of my long extensions. But it does work really well on my fringe (shorter hair in general). Maybe could half blame user error here but I do think the bristles could mimic a real round brush way more to be able to secure the hair during use.

Wow, another amazing product from GHD! My new Rise Volumising Hot Brush is amazing. It gives full length body and bounce. It’s also great for giving root lift for fine hair. It heats up quickly and has a long cord which is really useful. It gives long lasting volume. I wouldn’t try any other brand-GHD is my go to.

I really like the brush in this gift set - doesn't pull the hair even to remove the nods. The hot brush is easy and safe to use, I would recommend to watch a short tutorial video how to style your hair with this hot brush if you are new to this styler .I would also recommend to use the ghd thermal hair protector spray, as it does remove the fiziness in my hair (works the best when you apply heat such as straightener/ hit brush ).

This is my first purchase of a Hot Brush, it’s lightweight, quick to heat up and is super easy to use, also has a long cable length. I found it particularly great for ‘Day 2’ hair to give volume & lift at the roots. For styling, it is quick & easy to use to add a nice curl at the ends. All in all, I would recommend the GHD Rise Hot Brush, and it has fast become a replacement to my straightener for 2nd day hair.
