9. Dress curls with detangling comb
10. Create a halo parting
11. Pinch hair at front
12. Separate hair in two and tie the two sections in a knot
13. Repeat until you reach end of hair
14. Roll knots back and grip on top of head
15. Pull apart to add texture

step one: Spritz curl hold product on hair
Prep the hair with ghd curl hold spray.

step two: Section hair at bottom of head
Take a section at the bottom of the head from ear to ear.

step three: Place tong below section and wrap hair away from face
Place the ghd curve ® soft curl tong below one of the sections and wrap away from the face.

step four: Wrap hair and hold for 5-8 seconds
Twist or flat wrap the hair around the tong and hold for 5-8 seconds.

step five: Repeat down entire section
Repeat this technique across the section, always wrapping away from your face.

step six: On next layer, wrap hair towards face
On the next section, wrap the hair towards the face instead.
TIP: Alternating the curling direction of each section will give you a textured finish.

step seven: Finish layer wrapping towards face
Finish this layer always wrapping the hair towards the face.

step eight: Repeat on layers, alternating direction of curl each layer
Continue working in layers up the hair, always alternating the direction of the curl away from or towards the face with each layer.

step nine: Dress curls with detangling comb
Dress the hair by gently combing through the hair using a ghd detangling comb.

step ten: Create a halo parting
Separate the top of the hair to create a ‘halo parting’ with your fingers, and secure with an elastic.

step eleven: Pinch hair at front
Pinch the hair at the front to loosen slightly.

step twelve: Separate hair in two and tie the two sections in a knot
Separate the hair in two and tie a loose knot by crossing the two sections and looping the end of one through the middle.

step thirteen: Repeat until you reach end of hair
Continue tying loose knots until you reach the end of the hair.

step fourteen: Roll knots back and grip on top of head
Roll the knots backwards around the elastic and grip them in from behind at the top of the head.

step fifteen: Pull apart to add texture
Once secured, begin to pull the hair apart to add a lived in texture.
