STEP-BY-STEPS

Here’s how to style a wavy blow dry
for long hair:
1. Prep the hair with product
2. Blow-dry your hair until it’s 80% dry
3. Section your hair into equal quarters
4. Starting in the front-right quarter, apply
volumising product
5. Halve the section horizontally and clip
the top part up
6. Twist the section around your finger and
wrap up towards the head
7. Direct the hairdryer into your hand from
above, rotating gently
8. Do the same on the section above and
twist in the opposite direction
9. Do this until the hair feels 100% dry
10. Repeat on the rest of the hair
11. Use hair dryer to separate the twists
12. Pinch and pull top sections of your hair
and spritz with hairspray

step one: Prep the hair with product
Work ghd total volume foam throughout damp hair to add volume and fullness.

step two: Blow-dry your hair until it’s 80% dry
Use the ghd helios™ hair dryer to blow-dry the product into your hair until it’s 80% dry, working it through with your fingers.

step three: Section your hair into equal quarters
Use the ghd narrow tail comb to divide your hair into four equal quarters – front-right, front-left, back-right and back-left.

step four: Starting in the front-right quarter, apply volumising product
First, focus on the front-right quarter of hair. Apply a generous amount of ghd total volume foam for extra body.

step five: Halve the section horizontally and clip the top part up
Use the comb again to half the section horizontally, clipping the top part up.

step six: Twist the section around your finger and wrap up towards the head
Take the loose section of hair and twist it around your finger. Then wrap it up towards your head and hold in place.

step seven: Direct the hair dryer into your hand from above, rotating gently
With your remaining hand, direct the ghd helios™ hair dryer into your other hand from above, rotating gently.

step eight: Do the same on the section above and twist in the opposite direction
Release the section and then repeat on the one above. Unclip it and use the same technique in reverse, twisting the hair in the opposite direction.

step nine: Do this until the hair feels 100% dry
Continue this blow-dry technique until the section is completely dry.

step ten: Repeat on the rest of the hair
Repeat steps four to eight on the remaining three quarters of hair.

step eleven: Use hair dryer to separate the twists
Blast your locks with the ghd helios™ hair dryer to loosen the twists.

step twelve: Pinch and pull top sections of your hair and spritz with hairspray
Use your fingers to pinch and pull top sections of your hair and spritz with ghd final fix hairspray to enhance the texture.
