Great little set of straighteners
Great product, as hot as the plug ins. Battery life not the longest but I only have fine (but plenty) hair. Was perfect for my holiday.

Definitely does the job, the small plates are very useful for short hair and to reach around the ears for example. It feels qualitative and it seems to not damage the hair. The downside is that it has only one temperature. The battery heats when it charges which it says in the book that is normal but i didn’t feel comfortable with it. I couldn’t leave it to charge after use for example. The pouch is a bit too small, I struggle to zip it in every time, an inch bigger would have been better in my opinion, but for travelling I might like it, it’s as small as it can be😂. The plates don’t lock which surprised me, it felt ancient in that way, only my first ever straightener didn’t lock. I like that it was sent with a charger that is good quality and has the right power and that the it works with C cable, this is the best feature of it that beats the competition in cordless options. I wonder how long will battery last, as at this price if I have to change it every 4 years then it wouldn’t be worth it, definitely too pricey. Still best on the market for a small version but I wouldn’t take this as a compliment as it’s only a matter of time before someone will come with a better one, it feels as if there is loads of room for improvement. Hopefully GHD will improve this one.

The high cost of not much convenience

I bought these straighteners as I plan on going travelling later on in the year where I won’t necessarily have access to a mains plug when wanting to straighten my hair. The straighteners themselves are fairly decent considering they are cordless; they heat up to a good temperature and straighten my hair in a similar way my corded ones do. They don’t get quite as hot, and might take a couple more passes but generally decent straighteners. However, despite being advertised up to 20 minutes battery life I’ve consistently only managed to achieve 13 minutes straightening time on one charge, which is roughly the equivalent to one full straighten after wash and then one top up. I have thin mid to long length hair, and I suffered from a bit of hair loss last year so definitely not a lot of of it either. I found this to be the most disappointing part of the product, especially considering the cost; nearly £300 for 13 minutes of straightening time before having to charge for an hour and a half? Doesn’t seem like great value for money, and the lengthy charging time reduces the convenience for travel. The 20 minutes estimation says it depends on hair type and how it’s used, but I don’t see how somebody could get the optimum considering my hair is wavy to straight and very thin. I had such high hopes for these but unfortunately has fallen short. I will be keeping as they are not faulty, but do feel the product’s description of usage time is too generous.
