To perfect the art of the blow-dry, prep hair with ghd total volume foam to ensure long-lasting style, and blast the hair until it is nearly completely dry. Style with a ceramic brush to create shape and add volume to the hair; then pin the curls up whilst the hair cools to set the shape further and lock in the style. STEP-BY-STEPS

How to create blow dry bouncy curls
1.Prep hair with ghd total volume foam
2.Dry product into hair
3.Create parting and section hair
4.Take a section of hair and place brush underneath
5. Glide the brush down the hair with the airflow following from root to tip
6. Roll the brush back towards the roots
7. Set the curl
8. Remove the hairdryer and leave to cool
9. Pin curl the hair
10. Repeat steps 4-9 throughout hair
11. Release pins
12.Dress out hair with oval brush and add accessories

step one: 1.Prep hair with ghd total volume foam
On wet hair apply ghd total volume foam from root to ends

step two: 2.Dry product into hair
Using the ghd air® hair dryer, roughly dry the product into hair until the hair is about 80% dry

step three: Create parting and section hair
Create a parting with your fingers. Take a section from the ear to the top of the head and spilt the section into 2

step four: Take a section of hair and place brush underneath
Take a ghd ceramic radial brush size 3 and a section of hair the width of the bristles of the brush. Place the brush under the section of hair.

step five: Glide the brush down the hair with the airflow following from root to tip
Following the brush with your hairdryer, direct the airflow over the brush and glide it through the hair towards the ends

step six: Roll the brush back towards the roots
Once the hair is dry, roll the brush back towards the roots and hold the hairdryer over the brush for a few seconds to heat. Repeat 4 times on each section

step seven: Set the curl
Push the cool shot button to set the curl

step eight: Remove the hairdryer and leave to cool
Remove the hairdryer form the brush and leave a few seconds to cool.

step nine: Pin curl the hair
Place 2 fingers under the brush, unwrap the hair onto your fingers and ‘pin up’ with a clip

step ten: Repeat steps 4-9 throughout hair
Repeat steps 4-9, continue this technique up the hair towards the parting

step eleven: Release pins
Once hair has cooled, release pins

step twelve: Dress out hair with oval brush and add accessories
Brush through hair using the ghd oval dressing brush to smooth curls. For a festive feel, add clips or accessories to the parting.
