How to create tousled hair
1. Create parting, section from crown to ears and spritz with curl hold spray
2. Wrap sub-section around barrel
3. Curl hair, backcomb at root then pin section
4. Repeat 2 & 3 for all sections
5. Cool hair, unpin all curls and comb through
step one: Create parting, section from crown to ears and spritz with curl hold spray
Select the desired parting, then section the hair from crown to the ears and clip away the front sections. Take a horizontal section approximately 4cm deep across the head and lightly mist with ghd style curl hold spray.
step two: Wrap sub-section around barrel
Taking a horizontal subsection, flat wrap the hair around the barrel of the ghd curve® soft curl tong, from base to tip, securing the ends with the clamp.
step three: Curl hair, backcomb at root then pin section
Curl hair in the curl tong for 5-8 seconds, before gently unwrapping. Then backcomb the hair slightly at the root before looping the curl around two fingers and pinning it at the root.
TIP : For extra volume at the top, backcomb the roots slightly before using the tong.
step four: Repeat 2 & 3 for all sections
Repeat the curling process, working upwards in horizontal sections to the front of your head.
