step one: Use root lift product to prep hair
Prep the hair with ghd root lift spray.

step two: Dry in product with hairdryer
Twisting sections and drying up and down the length for texture, dry in the product using the ghd air® hairdryer.

step three: Section hair from ear to ear
Divide the hair at the bottom of the head from ear to ear.

step four: Point styler downwards at root, rotate half a turn away from face and glide
ghd platinum™ styler pointing downwards at the root and rotate half a turn away from the face. Glide the styler pushing downwards.

step five: Release styler before hair ends
Release the styler just before the bottom of the hair for a straighter, more modern end.

step six Repeat steps 4 and 5, but curl towards face
On the next section, repeat the technique, but this time rotate the styler towards the face.
TIP: Changing the direction of the rotation creates a natural texture.

step seven: Repeat steps 4 and 6 across all hair
Continue the technique throughout the hair working in sections, always alternating the direction and leaving a straight end.
TIP: On the front sections we want to kick the hair off the face around the eyes.

step eight: Bring one side down and place styler in hair
Bring one side of your hair down over the face and place the styler in pointing towards your nose.

step nine: Glide with no rotation
Smooth the root out with the styler with no turn on it.

step ten: At eyebrow level, turn styler away and pull section back
When you reach eyebrow level, begin to turn the styler away from the face and pull the section backwards.

step eleven: Repeat on other side
Repeat on the other front section, rotating away from the face and pulling the section backwards.

step twelve: Dress curls with detangling comb
Dress the hair by gently combing with the ghd detangling comb.
