I’ve just ordered an unplugged straightener and was really excited about it as I have an old GHD that works perfectly even after 7 years or so. Unfortunately, I’m not happy with this product. Upon my first use, I noticed the whole device was very hot, to the point where it was uncomfortable to hold it. I made sure I charged the battery to its fullest before the first use. But still the battery was out after only 15 minutes, and not 20 according to specifications. So the job was left undone… But I’m very concerned about the heating up while using, is this a normal thing? If so, don’t think will get used to that.
