step 1: 
Create a centre parting to divide the hair into two sections.   

step 2: 
On the left half, take a 3-inch piece of hair from the front of your hairline. Divide it into three equal sections.

Create your braid by taking the right section and pulling it across the middle section. Then cross the left section over the middle section.   

step 4:  
Continue to repeat step 3, taking extra hair and adding it in as you braid.   

step 5: 
Once you reach the crown, secure the braid with a hair tie, leaving the ends loose.   

step 6: 
Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 on the right half of hair.   

step 7: 
Once you have two braids, take their loose ends and any remaining hair, wrapping them all together to create a bun. Secure with a hair tie.

tep 1: 
Pull your hair back into a high ponytail near the top of your head. Secure with a hair tie.   

step 2: 
Wrap the lengths of the ponytail around the hair tie to form a topknot shape.   

step 3: 
Pin the loose ends around the bun to secure in place  

step 4: 
Play with the knot, gently tousling and teasing it to get that undone effect.

FISHTAIL UPDO

tep 1: 
Create a deep parting to one side of your head.   

step 2: 
On the heavy side of your parting, take a 3-inch section of hair from the front and divide into two equal sections.  

step 3:  
Take a half-inch piece of hair from the outside of the left section and pull it across the top of the left section and over into the right section.   

step 4: 
Take a half-inch piece of hair from the outside of the right section and pull it across the top of the right section and over into the left section.   

step 5: 
Repeat steps 3 and 4 alternately, adding more hair as you braid until you reach your ear. Then continue to fishtail braid all the way until the ends and secure with a hair tie.   

step 6: 
Take your remaining hair on the other side and create another loose fishtail plait down your back in the same way. Secure with a hair tie.   

step 7: 
Now you should have two fishtail braids. Pick up the thicker one and coil it up and around itself to form a bun shape, incorporating any leftover hair as required. Secure in place with hair pins.   

step 8: 
Take the smaller fishtail plait and wrap it over and around the bun. Pin into place.

BRAIDED TWISTED BUN
