GHD Hair Dryer

This is the second GHD Dryer I have bought. The first was 12 years ago and it's still going strong, it has a slight squeak on start up but this is most likely a small build up of dust around the fan blade, a service would probably fix the trouble. The main difference between our new one and the old,apart from the cosmetic style is the weight. The new one is much lighter to hold. They both blow a storm on full power the heat output is just right and the controls a well placed for ease of use. There has been no melting plastic as is often the case on cheaply manufactured depatment store offerings (but still not so cheap in the $ sense). In summary the GHD has been RELIABLE and WELL MANUFACTURED. Has performed faultlessly for 12 years and I fully expect to get 10+ years out of this new one too. The first one has proved to be an excellent, reliable and well manufactured product, As long as GHD has maintained good quality control of its design, construction, components and maufacturing process I expect this new one to be the same, otherwise there will not be a 3rd GHD.
