When you return your old electrical hair tool to us, we partner with our e-waste specialist, The Doc Shop, to securely and ethically recycle or dispose of your electrical items.
How and when do I get my partial refund back?
You must send us your old electrical hair tool within 14 days of receiving your new straightener or new curler, using the QR code on the flyer included with your order. This will allow you to create your free return postage label. We will then check your old electrical hair tool for eligibility and if it is eligible we will issue a partial refund via your original payment method for the new straightener or curler within fourteen (14) days of our verification. The partial refund will be $150 for an eligible new straightener or $100 for an eligible new curler. How do I trade in my old straightener?
Trade in your old electrical hair tool and receive a partial refund of $150 when you purchase a new full-price ghd chronos or ghd chronos max straightener, or $100 when you purchase a new full-price ghd chronos curve curler. Your order will include a QR code and instructions to generate a prepaid returns label, allowing you to send back your old electrical hair tool within 14 days of receiving your new tool.

How do I send back my old electrical hair tool?
When you purchase your eligible new straightener or chronos curve curler using the code ‘TRADEIN’ at check-out, you will be sent a flyer with a QR code to produce your shipping label with your new tool. After your new straightener or curler is delivered, package up your old electrical hair tool and send it to ghd within 14 days using the pre-paid shipping label, ensuring you keep proof of postage. Can I trade in my old electrical hair tool if it’s broken?
Your old electrical hair tool must be a genuine electrical hair styling tool from any hair brand, including but not limited to a straightener, curler, hair dryer, hot brush, hot air styler or similar electrical styling tool. It does not need to be in working order, but it must be in one piece with cord and plug still attached. Non-electrical products, styling products and accessories are not eligible for the Promotion. Can I return or exchange a product bought on offer?
Absolutely. All orders are covered by our standard 21-day returns policy, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging. As always, personalised gifts are excluded from our returns policy.
