Ink on Pink - Natasha V
44, London (originally from North America)
After going through breast cancer treatment at the same time as her sister, Natasha wanted to turn what she saw as an ugly situation into something beautiful.
The 44-year-old was diagnosed in 2014 and had a DIEP flap reconstruction. She was diagnosed at the same time as her sister who has, sadly, since passed away.
In total, nine of Natasha’s family members have been diagnosed with breast cancer, including her mum.
Natasha says her tattoo gave her a sense of relief and has helped her to feel more confident. She says it has given her the boost she needed to make her feel she could get into a new relationship.
