step one: Section hair, clipping away top section
Begin by section away the top section of hair with clips, and allow the lower section to hang loose around the neckline.
step two: Place styler at the top of lower section
At the nape of the neck, place the ghd platinum® styler at the roots of your hair.
step three: Taking a section, rotate styler up and towards head
With the first section of hair, rotate the styler one turn up and towards the head, then glide through the hair.
step four: For the next section, rotate styler down and away from head
With the next section of hair, rotate the styler one turn down and away from the head, then glide through the hair.
step five: Repeat throughout whole head
Alternating the direction of the ghd platinum® styler up and towards head, and down and away from head, curl all of the hair – unclip sections from the top as you go along.
step six: Brush through with paddle brush
To loosen your curls, brush the hair out with the ghd paddle brush to create your desired water wave look.
