Terms and Conditions - Email Competitions

  1. The promoter is: Jemella Australia Pty Limited ACN 104 455 138, a company incorporated in Australia, with its registered office at Level 24, 167 Eagle Street, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia, (collectively, “ghd” or “we/us/our”). ghd may be contacted at the above address. If you are a New Zealand resident, you can contact us in New Zealand at Private bag 211030, Laurence Stevens Drive, Auckland, 2154.
  2. Unless otherwise stated in the competition details, the competition is open to residents of Australia & New Zealand except employees of ghd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

  5. All qualifying entries will have an equal chance of winning the major prize, however winning entrants are not eligible to win more than one prize in the same competition. The winners will be determined by a random draw.
  6. One entry per person permitted.
  7. The competition will open on Sunday 05/10/2025 at 7am AEST and close on Sunday 20/10/2025 at 11.59pm AEST. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. Prizes will be drawn on the first business day after the competition closing date in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. Where multiple prizes are offered, prizes will be drawn in descending order of value with the most valuable prize drawn first.
  9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  10. The prize includes: 1 professional ghd stylist for a 3.5 hours dry styling session for up to 10 participants, Use of a variety of ghd styling tools throughout the session, A gift pack including: 1x ghd helios hair dryer, 1x ghd chronos hair straightener, 1x ghd chronos curve grand tong. The total prize value per winner is over $2,300 AUD / $2,400 NZD. The prize is not transferable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability, and you agree that we have the right to substitute any prize with another similar prize of equivalent or greater value.
  11. The session must be held at a workplace within 10km of Brisbane CBD, Melbourne CBD, or Auckland CBD. The workplace must have adequate power outlets and mirrors for up to 10 people.
  12. No travel or accommodation-related costs outside of the prize package will be covered by ghd.
  13. The prize will be valid to book by Friday 31st of October 2025 for a styling session between Monday – Thursday between the dates of Dec 1st - Dec 11th​. Bookings are subject to ghd hair’s availability and ghd hair reserves the right to decline bookings if capacity is unavailable.
  14. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  15. The winner will be contacted via email address or phone number by 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on the first business day in Brisbane, QLD, Australia after the competition closing date.
  16. If the prize is a product, the winner will be asked for their mailing address only to facilitate the delivery of their prize.
  17. The initial of the first name, last name and postcode of all winners will be published at https://www.ghdhair.com/au/terms-and-conditions/email by 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on the first business day in Brisbane, QLD, Australia after the competition closing date.
  18. The winner of a prize may be substituted via a second draw if despite the reasonable efforts of ghd, ghd cannot successfully contact the winner.
  19. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  20. To the fullest extent permitted by law including the Australian Consumer Law, ghd, its associated companies and agencies and all those entities' personnel exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any entrant in connection with the competition or prizes. To the extent that ghd's liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, ghd's liability is so limited.
  21. Personal information of entrants will be collected, used and disclosed by ghd in the administration of the competition and to publicise the winner. ghd may also use or disclose such personal information as covered by ghd’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at https://www.ghdhair.com/au/terms-and-conditions/privacy-policy.
  22. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering the competition, each entrant releases Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability to the entrant arising in any way from the conduct of the competition.
  23. ghd will never ask for any financial details or send you to an external link to enter a competition.
