STEP 2
At checkout, enter code TRADEIN to let us know you’d like to trade in your old straightener so we can provide you a satchel and a flyer to assist with your return.
STEP 3
Once your beautiful new ghd chronos or ghd chronos max arrives, complete the returns form, scan the QR code on the flyer to create your free return label, and send your old straightener back to us using the satchel.
STEP 4
When we’ve received and verified your old straightener, we’ll refund $150 back to the account you used for your purchase.

How do I trade in my old straightener?
You can trade in your old straightener and get a $150 partial refund on new full price ghd chronos OR ghd chronos max. To trade in your old straightener, you must enter code ‘TRADEIN’ at check-out when purchasing your new ghd chronos or ghd chronos max. You will receive your new tool with a shipping bag and return information card with a QR code to create a return label so you can send your old straightener to us within 14 days of receiving your new straighteners to qualify for your partial refund.

How and when do I get the $150 back?
You must send us your old straightener within 14 days of receiving your new ghd chronos or ghd chronos max, using the QR code on the flyer included with your order. This will allow you to create your free return postage label. We will then check your old straightener for eligibility and if it is eligible we will issue a partial refund via your original payment method for the new straightener within fourteen (14) days of our verification. Can I trade in my old straightener if it’s broken?
Your old straightener must be a genuine straightener (any brand, including any ghd model). It does not need to be in working order, but it must be in one piece with cord and plug still attached. We will not accept any other types of products, such as hair dryers, curlers, styling products or accessories. How do I send back my old straightener?
When you purchase your ghd Chronos or ghd Chronos Max using the code ‘TRADEIN’ at check-out, you will be sent a shipping bag and information card with your new tool. After your new straightener arrives, scan the QR code on the flyer to create your free return label. Then package your old straightener and send it back within 14 days using the provided shipping bag. What does ghd do with my old straightener?
When you return your old straightener to us, we partner with our e-waste specialist, THE DOC SHOP, to securely and ethically recycle or dispose of your electrical items.
